keep my sanity and not get grouchy
and last but not least go shopping on Black Friday![]()
I told Mark this morning we had better enjoy these last few days of quietness. ![]()
Marks family is coming for Thanksgiving and they all plan to be here except for his one sister and family. The house will be full and running over with children, I think there's around 26 children
I was hoping for a beautiful warm day, so they can play outside but it looks like they are calling for rain. Thankfully I don't have to make all the food but it worries me about towels and washcloths, would it be rude to call them and tell them to bring their own or do I just wash twice a day and hope nobody has to drip-dry? I know we will be ready to have the twins sleep in their own crib and girls in their bed by Sunday night. They're not all staying for the weekend. On the menu for Thanksgiving dinner:
Turkey and filling
mashed potatoes
creamed celery
onion bread and smear cheese
coleslaw/ christmas salad
pumpkin/ pecan pie and ice cream
sweet tea and coffee
My mouth is already watering. Mark grew up with creamed celery and smear cheese and I'm still getting used to it ![]()
Have a Happy Thanksgiving. Let's be thankful for all the wonderful things that we have so abundantly.
