Why is it that EVERY TIME I make chocolate chip bars, they flop???? I'm so disgusted, they are good but flatter then a pancake. Do I need to add more flour or bake them longer?
You just need my mom's recipe. They turn out every single time.

My recipe says to bake untillightly browned and firm in the middle... I think that is the secret. I am going to bake a batch today.. Will let you know how they turn out. Been so long since I made them.
I always just make choc. chip cookies, but bars sound good, too!!
I underbaked them.. Gotta try again.. I think the secret is baking longer. They are still yummy, but a little solid and not soft..
