It's hard to believe 2008 is history! It was a good year, alot of things happened, some good and some not so good. But God has been good to me and to us as a family and I'm so glad He never changes.
Here are some of my goals for this year,
1. spend more time with my heavenly Father
2. Be more sensitive to the needs around me
3. Spend more time with my two oldest girls and take time to hold them and kiss them and let them know how much I love them!
4. Be more organized and get up earlier

5. Excersice a couple times a week!!

6. Last but not least, love my husband with an unconditional love and take time out for him and let him know how much I love and appreciate him.
Here are some pics of our precious little pumpkins. They will soon be four months old, where did time go? They are growing and I love this stage where they start to see things happening around them and they are starting to notice each other and that is so neat. Smiling comes easy for them and they love to watch their older sisters and Gwenyth and Danika do very good in intertaining them. I love them dearly and sometimes I still can hardly believe we have twins. I wouldn't trade them for anything and I love to kiss their little soft cheeks and see their faces light up when they see mommy. I just love being a mother.
And would you believe it, they are both thumb suckers!!!!!!!!!!!!

Awww, I always thought I'd want twins. We had 2 babies 14 months apart, twice! So I consider myself kind of a mom of twins:)
We have a thymb-sucker daughter..and I think our little sonny might be one too! Makes more contented babies! but hard to break that habit.. She is almost 5 and still sucks! Babies are soo fun....
Your little ones are so cute! It is good to know that I am not the only 'twins' mom that feels like I am pulled 10 differant directions at one time
We are still trying to get our nights worked out
which feels hopeless the majority of the time. Nursing is going really well, better than expected! I just got done ordering some maxi-milk . Just in case I do run low. We have 6 children now, ages 9, 7, 5, 2, and the twins are 3 weeks old now. My recovery has been great, so that really helps.
Have a wonderful day and if you have any helpful tips feel free to share them. It is a totally differant experience, and now I say if I would have another baby, I would probably find it slightly boring
Blessings~ Kristena
I always secretly thought I would enjoy having twins, My dad is a twin and two of his twin brothers daughters have now had twins. All three sets were born in 12 months time
I am an outgoing person that can't stand to be couped up too long, and I made a strong statement that has now come back to bite me
"These Twins Will not keep me from going with My husband on errands or what ever"
Now my words are, I don't know if I feel like it, it looks so big to try and take 6 children out
Often at night Wayne will sleep with one in his arms and I will sleep with one in my arms. It works well that way and we are guareteed a little more rest
It did enter my mind that if I could get them on a three hour nursing schedule than Wayne and I would have a chance to maybe go out for coffee or something..... Hearing from you is an encouragement. I am determined that if I get the house looking really nice and maybe cleaned today than life will look brighter! We were going to start building before we realized that we were expecting twins and once we found it out we decided it is best to wait on the house, so we are still in a 14x70. I don't mind it, it is less stress living in a trailer than to have to worry about building
and we may never get another chance like this
something fun to look back on 30 years from now
Thanks for being a blessing~
I have a soft spot in my heart for thumb sucking babies, maybe because both of mine did it. I think it's adorable.
Awh.....they are soooo cute!!!!!!!
Would love to see you guys!!
I haven't seen you in half of forever!! Your babies look so gown-up!
